Im truly baffled at the reviews saying this is grainy. Im about 3/4 of the way through my second tub of this and its nothing but smooth almost petroleum jelly texture. It helps keep my lips hydrated during the night better than anything I've ever found.

I have always struggled with dry lips. Got this as a full size free sample 7 months ago and still have about 1/4 left so it will last probably a year. I use once every night and most mornings, and depending on the weather, I sometimes don't need to apply anything else during the day. I've learned castor oil is a key ingredient in lip repair for me, but the addition of ceramides and sphignosine makes this the most effective ever. (2nd best/good for travel is Hauschka lip balm stick). Mine is smooth and a bit gooey when first applied. I think if you get a gritty one, you should exchange it—might've melted and re-solidified in transit. I do not carry this with me; it stays on the shelf in the bathroom.

I have tried hundreds of lip treatments from balm to mask to exfoliation. Nothing has worked as good and as long as this lip sleep mask. I use it every night and in the morning I use BYOMA liptide Lip Oil my lips have never been softer and juicy

At first, I was very happy with it. It even comes with a cute applicator however after using it for two months - it started to make my lips cracked and dry. I gave it another shot but there was no improvement. I'm back to using Aquaphor

This had a graininess to it that made it very unpleasant to use, especially because that never melted in. It was okay at moisturizing but I couldn't get past the texture

I love Cosrx. I trust their ingredients and recipes, they are proven to be reliable and affordable for skincare that actually works. That being said this lip mask sucks! Really thick and doesn't leave a bad taste, but that's really as far as pros go. Made my lips more chapped after use, caused cracking and pain, and I then needed to emergency exfoliate. I usually dont have to do that with lip masks. Don't know if that is the point of it? but don't use it before an event. I would have been so upset if I used this the night before something important. After exfoliating my lips felt raw and didn't look too good, didn't notice much of a difference after 'healing'. Maybe a reaction, this product just isn't for me! Again, love Cosrx!

I got this for free in an order months ago and would use it almost every night. I love it so much. mine got gritty but I think this is due to me leaving it in my car sometimes when I'd take it out. the gritty doesnt bother me as its a nice little lip scrub lol

I started using this when i had 4 very dry and irritated spotson my lips. After using this for 2 days, the dry spots were gone. I had tried other lip balms but nothing was working. Im not sure what the grittiness some people are feeling. Mine is not like that and is completely smooth. I love how smooth my lips are now only after a few days of using. Now, i keep it by my bed and put it on before i go to sleep. I wake up with very smooth lips.

This doesnt really soak in and moisturize my lips. It just kind of sits on top. It's ok for mild dry lips duting the day but when I used it overnight, my lips were very dry and cracking when I woke up. I wouldnt use it continually during the day either because its not very moisturizing. Also, it seems like it separated a little over time. There are spots that are really slick and oily and spots that are more solid and grainy.

I have eczema on my lips which causes dryness, flaking, inflammation, and means I have sensitivities to various products. This lip mask fortunately hasn't exacerbated existing issues (pro), but I haven't noticed significant relief, either (con). It's moisturizing (pro) but not hydrating (con), and has to be reapplied constantly (con). It melts onto my lips since it's not thick enough to stay put for long (con), it's not grainy (pro), and has no discernable flavor (pro). It's fine, there's just nothing all that great about it for my needs at this price point.

my lips have never been as moisturized as they now are since using this, once daily before bed. I have psoriasis so my skin is dry but often doesn't absorb balms, oils or butters. This stuff is just magic. Going to try it on my cuticles next. Ceramides are especially needed by those of us with psoriasis and eczema and I am seeing the truth in that.
