Costway 1/2 PCS Garden Arbor with Multiple Side Crossbars Powder-coated Metal Tubes

If I could give this product, a zero I would. The design is beautiful. The structure looks great, but where you bolt them together the inserts in the polls are plastic and to make matters worse, it’s a very soft plastic. If you live in an area with warm summers this thing won’t last a month. This is going straight into the trash.

The instructions are a little sparse but if you take your time you can figure it out. Easy to insert into the ground and make sure it stays in place.

Love the design! This gazebo is very sturdy. I am trimming the roses on both sides so that it covers me. So glad I bought this!

Very nice garden arch! Sturdy, well made and beautiful! Great value for the price. We did need to put a few pieces together and the instructions weren't very clear but if you're handy you can follow them. It took us about half an hour to 45 minutes to put it together. The screws come in three different sizes and you need to work out which screw goes in which hole. It would have been clearer if there were instructions in addition to the pictures.

Not as sturdy as I thought it would be. Had to use stakes at the bottom to secure it. Looks nice with some faux flowers on top.

Easy to assemble. Not too heavy, but heavy enough

Super easy to put together. Wish it was a little sturdier, but I think it should be enough to support the vines I have growing out of it. Looks pretty solid when buried in the soil. Very nice.

Very pretty easy to install but screws are rusting

put it over my front door, added the shingles to the top and now I have a covered area over my door which I have wanted for years. It was much cheaper than building and installing a wooden awning. I have solar lights around it and will hang garlands from it during the holidays. I really like it! It was so easy to put together too!

This pergola was easy to assemble, is aesthetically pleasing, and looks like it will meet our needs next summer. Specifically, the view of our perennial garden from our summer patio is blocked by the neighbor's garage on the other side of the fence. The fence is covered with flowering vines, but is only 5 feet high. We had just cut down a 15-year-old tree that was meant to block the view because it shaded the garden and had its lower branches dropped in order to not block the view of the garage. The tree has been cut down. The plan for the pergola is to cover it with vines to at least partially shade the garage but not too much of the perennials. In the first picture, you can see the bare pergola after installation and before the vines. The only problem is that the pergola is tall and wide, which is good. But this makes it very easy to topple over at the first breeze or the first bird alight. The pergola needs to be anchored to the ground. There are no instructions, which is perhaps reasonable, as each installation situation may be different. I started by trying to hammer the lowest crossbar in order to drive the legs into the relatively soft soil. I quickly realized that this wasn't a good idea because the hammering would stress the welds. I wisely stopped so nothing would break. Then my 78 year old manual skills kicked in. I found some 4 foot lengths of 5/16" rebar at my local home improvement store. They were easily hammered into the ground about 2 feet near the trellis legs. I then tied each rebar to the adjacent trellis leg with two hose clamps, which should provide a good anchor. See the second picture. This anchoring scheme isn't as pretty as the original trellis, but the lowest 2 feet are well below eye level and would be obscured by the perennials and vines on the trellis. It should work just fine!

Size is based on it being on the ground. Once it's stabilized in the ground, you lose 9-12". Definitely couldn't use it as a walk through arch.

I love how this looks and how strong it is. I have Passion Flower vines with fruit and it holds up beautifully.

Received right away. Will look great in the garden.

I got two of these...the first one confused me but then built the second quickly. Put them in front of gates in my fence and have lights going over them. May need to affix them to the fence when my new clematises climb them and give a wind profile, but sturdy as they are now.

Update: I ordered two of these and am now assembling the second one. The structural tubes or struts that connect the two arch pieces have washers and nuts in them, but they are not secured to the end of the tube. They just hang loosely on the end of the tube and are not secured, so they fall out and you can't connect the two arch pieces together because the struts/tubes can't be tightened into the arch pieces. I didn't have this problem with the first one, and I ordered the second one a few months ago. It's like they ran out of the plastic inserts that hold the nuts and washers in place, so they just left them there unattached. This pretty much renders the arch piece useless. The assembly instructions are very vague, with only drawings and diagrams. There are no hints on how to put the right pieces in the right order. On the side pieces, pay attention to the alignment of all the holes where you're going to insert the pieces, or you'll end up taking it apart several times. The first one looked great when it was assembled. But there was definitely something wrong with the second one. You have to drive rebar into the ground to secure the base, or it might blow over in the wind.

It was super easy to put together and it's lightweight, not heavy at all. I wanted something that I could move by myself so that if I wanted to move it to another part of the yard or garden, I could move it easily. This arch fits the bill exactly. It's taller than I expected, which was a nice surprise. The width is just the right size, too. It looks beautiful in the yard. The morning glories are slowly climbing up the sides of the arch, which is exactly what I wanted. I also attached some solar string lights to the top of the arch so it looks beautiful at night. You can decorate it however you want. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a metal garden arch. I love it!
