Not so much. This electric fireplace does not include any sort of frame. The descriptor, "freestanding," is misleading. It is made for a built in fireplace.

It works ok. The reason for only 3 stars is because every time I turn it on, I have to run through all the settings to get to the temperature I want, which is 80°. So you have to push L (Low), then H (High), then run through all temps starting from 55°. With all our modern technology, I can't believe I have to go through all that.
