These loungers are made of a good weather friendly plastic rattan. I like that they fold in half and have a handle to carry. I don't think they'd be sturdy enough to leave out all summer, so I'm putting mine away after each use. (I'm in south Louisiana, with scorching hot summer days and lots of rain.) The cushion is a bit thin, and has straps but still slides around a bit. My main complaint is that these are fixed position, i.e. you can't raise or lower the back. I didn't see this mentioned in the description, and wish I'd done a bit more research, as these are available on multiple sites. So they are great for laying out, but you can't sit up to read a book. I'm too lazy to return them so I'm using a stack of pillows when I want to prop up. But for the price, when you shop around for similar chaise loungers, they are a good deal for the quality.
