This table was (surprise) delivered in two seperate packages on two seperate days. I am 76 years old, so I got my 17 yr old grandson to help me with the construction. (Pieces were quite heavy). Between his intelligence and strength and my furniture assembly experience, the table was built in about an hour. It is beautiful and sturdy; I am so happy I purchased this long, solid piece of furniture! It is great for eating or could be used as a desk. My daughter used it as the staging area for her annual Christmas cookie maxi-bake. The whole family is pleased with this purchase.
