If I could give this Zero stars I would. The table arrived in completely unusable condition. We purchased this item specifically for a July 4th gathering due to the advertised fast shipping. Unfortunately, not only was the table unassemblable, but it also caused us to cancel the event we had planned around it. Upon opening the box, we found numerous serious issues, including: • Hardware was loose in the box, with several nuts, bolts, and hinges missing, rusted, and corroded. • Joints were misaligned, making proper assembly impossible (photos attached). • The tabletop was separating from the base, due to rusted and failing hardware. • The leaf track mechanism was non-functional; it appeared to have warped — possibly swollen and then shrunk — and would not slide into place, rendering the extension unusable. • The packaging was severely damaged upon arrival — poorly taped, falling apart, and appeared reused. - Components were not bagged properly and looked like they had been tossed in, leading us to believe this may have been a previously returned item. Due to the size and weight of the item and the condition of the original packaging (which was damaged and discarded), we are unable to repackage and return the table and Target has been zero help in providing a refund. After being a long-time Target customer this has been enough to convince me to move on from purchasing from this company again. They do not have the product or customer service they used to provide customers.
