Nice table once it\'s assembled correctly - no thanks to the
As others have said, the instructions are inadequate. But I figured out how to solve some issues. Overall, it was a bear to assemble, especially compared to other small tables I\'ve assembled. First, the drawer. In order to ensure the drawer does not fall down, the top of the table must be oriented such that attached wood piece #10 is close to the opening where the drawer slides in. *The diagram does not show this!!* When the tabletop is oriented correctly, the drawer operates correctly and it will not fall down. One reviewer stated that the table kept falling apart. Apparently, that person did not lock the locking \"things\" (Item C) around the pins (Item A). Once locked, it is impossible for any piece to come loose. Unfortunately, the kit does not come with a tool, which would probably let people, who are unfamiliar with this type of mechanism, know to turn them with a screwdriver so that it locks onto the pin. Again, no mention in the instructions. Finally, it is true that two of the locking mechanisms require a specialized small, right-angle screwdriver, as there is no room to tighten the two mechanisms that are alongside wood piece #10. Tightening them may not be critical, as those that are accessible tighten down the tabletop pretty well. Once assembled correctly, I find this table to be pretty nice, and is good for my space. But the instructions...Oy. Had I known how difficult the assembly is, I would probably have looked elsewhere, but finding a different table with these dimensions, and for a similar price, may have taken a lot of work right there!
