We took this to the hill and were severely disappointed. The rails would not stay locked, Everytime we locked them in place and sat on it to go down the hill, they folded. My kid was pretty ticked off. Luckily I know my way around mechanics, so I took it home and investigated. I ended up taking the locking rods off of the sled, removed the spring pins, and reformed them by stretching them out. Once I put everything back together, it worked fine. So basically, when depressing the pins to fold the legs or lock them in place, be sure not to press too hard or they will deform and not lock properly. Otherwise, it's a decent sled.
