It was very simple to assemble and it only took me 5 minutes to put the thing together. I was happy to find that the screws that hold the towel bar in place are black and blend in with the body of the stand. I like that it has wheels so I can move it where we need it but the weighted base keeps it in place. My only complaint is that the tray that sits on top and covers the stand is made of plastic. The main part of the stand is made of very sturdy aluminum and I thought the tray was also metal. I was concerned that the plastic tray would weather in the sun and possibly deteriorate faster than the rest of the stand. We live in a hot climate so I specifically chose a metal towel rack. That being said, for now it is a very nice towel rack that looks beautiful sitting on our patio.
