As a single older woman, I found it clear where everything was supposed to go. However, I will need to adjust it so that it doesn't remain in a reclined position all the time.

I love the design; however, the wood is very thin. The assembly instructions are horrible, no words, only pictures, and IKEA instrucitons are better than this. No videos on youtube for this model, reached out the manufacturer, and they we're not helpful either. I would not recommend this brand, it is sitting on patio un-assembled, debating on returning it.
