Sturdy, portable, and stylish - the ideal patio umbrella bas
I needed a new umbrella stand because we are prone to high winds and other umbrella stands have not been suitable. I like this umbrella stand because it has a sturdy base. Its durable construction ensures that my 9-foot umbrella stays firmly in place even on breezy afternoons. Unlike the more flimsy stands I have used in the past, this one does not wobble or move, giving me confidence that it will be able to withstand sudden gusts of wind. I like that this umbrella stand is easy to move, and it comes with a nice handle and wheels, making it easy to move around the patio.

Excellent workmanship
This umbrella stand is well made and easy to move. It is heavy but the wheels and handles make it very easy to move. I love how easily it can transform my backyard.

Easy to move
This base is very well made and the handle with wheels is awesome. I hadn't thought of the base being hollow and could be filled with water to support the umbrella. The best part is that you don't have to tilt the base to roll or otherwise move it. You just pull the handle and the base raises and the wheels engage. It's easy to roll even when filled with water! This is the best parasol base I've ever used. The packaging was sturdy and assembly was easy. Just screw the handle and pole into the base and fill it with water from a hose and you're done.

The base did what it was supposed to do.
This umbrella stand is very stable. After adding water, I was able to prop up the umbrella easily. I like that it has an adapter for small umbrella poles. My umbrella does not need an adapter, so I removed it from the umbrella stand. The stand is very securely attached to the umbrella pole. Once tightened, the stand does not wobble much with a firm push. The stand rolls very smoothly on the deck. It has three nice wheels which helps. The stand stayed upright in the winds which were about 15 miles per hour at the time. I think the handle is very cleverly designed and can be adjusted to the height as needed. You can also lock the handle in different positions that you find comfortable.

As long as your umbrella is the right size it's fine
I bought a beach umbrella with a smaller than average pole. Too small for this stand. The stand screws weren't screwed in tight enough to hold it securely. Wish it was tighter. But I threaded the umbrella through the hole in the picnic table and into this stand and together they held it pretty securely. So all is good. It would be nice if the stand was the right size. I like that the stand has a handle so that even my 10 year old can carry it around when it's filled with water. Easy to fill and easy to use. So glad I bought it.

Durable and beautiful umbrella stand
This AckMizz patio umbrella stand is made of thick, durable plastic with a hollow metal base rod that inserts into the umbrella pole. Assembly took a long time due to confusing instructions. There was an extra plastic piece that didn't seem to fit, and I had to put my full weight on the base rod to get it to fully depress. We filled the base with water because once it was filled with sand, it was almost impossible to move. The base rod has some wiggle when the umbrella is propped up, and the edges of the plastic base are rounded, which also causes the umbrella to wobble. However, we held the umbrella up in both light and moderate winds, and it didn't tip over. However, it would be sturdier if the plastic base was taller and had flat edges. Overall, I am very happy with the look and function of this umbrella stand. It works well.
