  • A: If you look at each arm, it's at the end of one. The switch is closest to where the arm sits in the pocket of the umbrella material. The picture of the umbrella is WRONG! It shows the switch being near the crank. I almost returned this umbrella for the lack of information (no instructions in the box) and the unhelpful answers here in it's Q&A.

    Misrepresentation of switch location

    The umbrella itself is satisfactory in size and quality. I bought 2, and both have the switch at the tip of the umbrella, not on the pole as advertised. That was very disappointing. one must be 5'10 or taller to reach. Tried to upload photo, but it would not. The switch is misrepresented in its location.

    Not worth it

    I finally was able to put up this umbrella and it broke in one day. The area where the umbrella tilts. just tilted on its own when open and then cracked. Now cant close it or get it to stay straight. Waste of money.

I tried to see if I can resolve it by getting a solar panel that is nowhere an option so I have two umbrellas and the only option I have is to drag this to my store in a drenched cardboard box for a return UNBELIEVABLY ignorant

    patio umbrella

    I received an email that my umbrella was delivered. it never was. called Target 3 times to leave directions and instructions for delivery. Target won't accept directions for the driver. So my umbrella has still not been delivered. The driver was supposed to leave a photo so I can see where my umbrella is, but the photo was not sent to me. So I cant even go looking for it. I asked if it could be shipped to the store and I could go pick it up there. Targrt so that was not an option. So I've wasted hours on the phone and searching for my umbrella around the neighborhood and I still don't have it. Really unacceptable policy on targets park. I'm extremely disappointed and won't order anything from them again.
