Disappointed – Product Description Is Misleading
I purchased the Costway 10FT Patio Offset Umbrella Solar Powered LED 360 Degrees Rotation Aluminum (Beige) expecting it to include a fillable base, as clearly stated in the Target product description. Unfortunately, it only came with a lightweight cross stand that makes the umbrella unusable without additional heavy bases or weights. I contacted Target customer service and was told they needed photos before reaching out to their partner vendor, but it’s been a slow and frustrating process. The product listing gives the impression that the fillable base is included, which is misleading. It’s disappointing to spend over $100 on an item that cannot be used as advertised. I hope Target updates the product description or ensures that future shipments include the proper fillable base as listed. I’ve always trusted Target for accurate listings, so this experience was very discouraging.

False advertising
The umbrella does not stand on its own with the base supplied. It is not heavy enough to hold the umbrella up without any type of weight on it. I had to buy sandbags to hold the umbrella up in order to use it correctly. I feel his false advertising for the fact being that it does not show any weight on the base to hold the umbrella up. It just hold itself according to any of the pictures online on your website.

Top Heavy
The build is awful. This umbrella is extremely top heavy & will not stay in place. We had to use a cinder block to hold it in place so thay it would not tip over into the pool. We even tried screwing into into the deck & wouldn't hold. It is not stable at all so when the wind blows the umbrella moves it & whips around will not stay in place. Terrible set up, it seems like it'd be great but it is not. I will be returning, worst money spent. Just get a regular umbrella & skip this.

Too Heavy for Included Base
Purchased July 2, 2024. Assembly was straight forward. When I mounted the umbrella in the included base it immediately wanted to tip over. The 2 flimsy pieces of metal which makeup the base will not support the weight of the umbrella. I installed in a 85 lb cement base and the slightest breeze tipped it over. I suspect you would need a 150 lb base to hold this umbrella. Returned it.
