Our Cottonelle Brand flushable wipes are designed to break down as they move through the system due to a patented technology that keeps them strong in the package and during use but allows them to lose strength after flushing. We’ve worked with many municipal wastewater operators and plumbers to study the issue of wipes in sewers and treatment systems. What those studies have shown is that up to 99 percent of wipes accumulating in treatment systems are baby wipes, hard-surface cleaning wipes, and other wipes NOT designed to be nor marketed as “flushable.” These types of wipes do not dissolve while our flushable wipes are specially formulated to make sure they get you clean with ease, but also immediately start to breakdown after flushing and are sewer and septic safe. Has a slight fresh scent which I like but nothing overpowering. Thick and soft wipe that doesn’t irritate my skin. These are great for use at home or if you need to take some on the go.     Holy grail for the bottom!

    The smell

Don’t get me wrong, it smells great; but for this to be a “gentle” version of the wipe, it was unexpected. The wipes are well saturated but are pretty small. My husband is throwing them in his work bag and they’re great for when you have to 💩 at work but I wouldn’t choose these for home.

    Only wipes that I trust to flush down the toilet

These wipes have a very mild, fresh scent and are relatively small, so they tear easily; they have to be handled gently. However, they flush down the toilet without issue. This is a small, handy pack. That can be used discreetly for a person's cleanup, without making the garbage smell.

They have a very pleasant scent. These wipes are safer than most other wipes for flushing down the toilet. However, I prefer not to flush these just to be safe as I have new plumbing and I don’t want anything to happen. But from my research these wipes to disintegrate pretty readily. If you’re in the market for wipes, this is certainly a better product and most and I recommend them.
