Q: Are these really flushable? Like what standard are they tested at?

  • A: There are a lot of things that are technically flushable (anything small enough to) but that doesn’t mean they should be flushed. Besides plumbers saying don’t do it, there has been at least onewhole segment on a national news show (I forget which one) on why flushable wipes should not be flushed.

  • A: These wipes aren't disinfecting wipes to begin with, these are more like baby wipes. I suggest getting something like a non-clorine lysol wipe to clean the books or just mild soap & water.

    The Up and Up brand of personal wipes are a value item that gets the job done. They’re slightly thinner than other brands, lightly scented and don’t irritate the sensitive skin they’re cleaning. They do tend to tear when first opening the package so you have to be careful not to rip them because they are smaller sized than name brand wipes.     It seems like I can never find where the wipe starts or ends, they are a thinner ply than my toilet paper, and they always tear apart before I can actually get them out of the package. The only time I can get them to work is if the wipe is centered perfectly and I can pull two wipes at a time lest I poke a hole directly through to my bhole.
