At first the canopy looks very appealing and strong, but with the canopy up, I was going down the river at about a 20 mph pace and the back supporting poles came apart at locking mechanism. Locking mechanism stayed attached to the lower part of the pole and the upper part of the pole pulled out and the canopy slammed to the front. Luckily, my grandkids were not on the boat with me and I was at the helm, and the canopy went over the top of me. I put the poles together again and the next time I was at that pace going down the river, they did it again, so the back pole will not support driving in your boat around with the canopy up.

It is a great product family enjoy sitting under it in the shade while I fish off the front of my boat
