Cracker Barrel has a good name and I enjoy Havarti cheese so paying the higher price for what sounded like a great variation on a mac and cheese theme was an easy decision to make! Unfortunately, the quality and taste were definitely not what I expected! I did not taste Havarti and cheddar cheese rather some highly artificial taste which made me very suspicious to eat! It also clumped together in a solid mass even after additional items were added in an attempt to make this taste and consistency more palatable but nothing worked and I dumped out the two boxes I had made for a family get together! Normally I will not comment on product quality but this product deserves a negative review from my point of view.

If you’ve been wondering about whether or not you should buy this brand of Mac and cheese. BUY IT. So much better than velveeta and craft. It doesn’t taste like just salt either. It’s around $4 for a box.

Not bad, not great
I was excited about this as I love Havarti cheese. I wish I had added some extras as did the other reviewer. Alone it was, I felt, a tad bit better than other boxed mac'n'cheese meals. I usually make my own (homemade) mac'n'cheese. I only added half the packet of cheese which is something I tend to do. Overall, it wasnt horrible. I just wish it had more of a Havarti flavor.
