Lovely but why no skin tone representation?
My daughter loves the mess free colouring — they’re convenient and perfect for travel. However, I was really disappointed to see that this set doesn’t include a proper skin tone color. Instead, there are two shades of blue that look almost the same, when one of them could have easily been replaced with a skin tone marker. Ariel is shown on the front of the package, yet it’s impossible to color her accurately because there isn’t a color for her skin. Even on the packaging, Ariel’s skin is left uncolored in the examples— which only highlights the problem. Including a range of skin tones is such a simple but important way to help all children feel represented, and I hope future sets reflect that

No Brown Markers
Bought this for a brown girl disappointed and upset that not 1 marker includes the color brown. How mortified are we at the blatant racism in this. The television character is brown! If she's not supposed to be brown then don't advertise her as such and base the character off her being brown in the television series. That is false advertisement at its finest. We deserve a refund!

On the go coloring!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old daughter selected this set. She loves Ariel and mermaids. Good selection of colors. We love the color wonder series for the car or on the go. No worries about cleaning marks from stray or flying markers. The reusable folder is perfect for when we are on the go to keep the set together and easy cleanup.

Always a hit with littles!

They love coloring with the color wonder markers! They think it’s magic! Easy to set up and clean up and best part is the marker only shows up on the special paper! 10/10 would recommend!

Neat concept
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3.5-year-old boys enjoy scribbling on the Color Wonder paper with these markers, but I found this set to be more appropriate for my 7.5-year-old daughter. She was especially excited about the Ariel-themed designs (and I was impressed with the number of included pages), but many of them are very detailed with small areas to color… which doesn’t lend itself well to the large tips of the markers. This, combined with the fact that the color isn’t visible right away, made it very difficult for her to color within the lines so while she was initially very excited to try this product, she quickly got frustrated and stopped coloring. The pink, red, and golden colors are vibrant, but the blue and aqua colors sometimes didn’t show up and, when they did, appeared as a gray tone (see attached picture).

Mess free fun for all
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My toddler son is not a big fan of coloring, but he liked working on this picture together. We colored smaller details together. Then he colored the large space in his own. Once he discovered the hidden pictures in the background he got really excited looking for more! We have other Color Wonder products from Crayola and enjoy the mess and hassle free fun it provides!

Color wonder

There was one marker in the pack that took a while to warm up but otherwise it worked as expected and we can't wait to finish the rest of the coloring sheets. I love that this allows the child to color freely

A nice addition to the color wonder line
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 year old daughter enjoys this color wonder set as she enjoys Ariel. Being able to get new color wonder coloring sheets allows her to keep playing without getting bored. One complaint however is that the teal marker is showing up on the paper looking almost exactly like the blue that is included.

Color Wonder, always a good bet

Lots of variety always, although I do have to say this one is more oriented to little princesses. Good variety of pictures within the little mermaid world. Could have used more Flounder, a personal favorite.

Great for littles that maybe a little messy

I loved that the images we colored so far had hidden items in that are revealed when colored over! We would definitely get the Color Wonders again for traveling as no color travels to furniture, clothing or on hands. I would recommend this product and gift in the future!

Great for all ages

I feel the pack lacked in variety of colors, especially given the new Ariel and friends. I love how it is mess free and will not get anywhere but the paper, this makes it a great travel product! My child is five and loved this, it kept her busy for a while and there’s still a lot to do.

Because the markers don’t show on anything but the special color wonder paper, you never have to worry about market getting on any of your homes surfaces or furniture! My daughter loved all the pictures from the newest Ariel movie!
