I know some people find the broken pieces to be a detraction, but truthfully that is why I bought my second hide inside. I have a compulsion to pick, and picking out the broken pieces has been a perfect way to redirect that habit. Once I clear one area, I smoosh it around and start again. I love having the positive redirection.

This putty is SO cute! all the little sweets inside are so adorable! The little plastic pieces kinda "stab" into my hands (for lack of any better words) When I squeeze it, Which gives me the EXACT sensory input I enjoy! Don't worry, they do not actually stab into your skin or hurt you, it's just a really nice sensory feel for someone who likes to squeeze soft spiky things! It's great! This putty is also super cool for someone who may deal with skin picking or scratching, it makes me focus on picking through the putty and looking for the little guys inside instead of going for my skin!! This entire line is awesome!
