Crescent 3/4 in. drive SAE 6 and 12 Point Mechanics Tool Set 14 pc

But I needed ot last week when out excavator broke down with a leaking hydraulic cylinder. I got the set out and broke the cylinder free. I have used other brands in the past that would flex when using the beaker bar but not this set. The ratchet works great and has a good action not lose like others. Sockets fit tight and not to much play. Over all great set for the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a heavy equipment mechanic. The 12 point sockets are tough. With a 6 foot cheater pipe on some bolts and have not busted a one. Have used a torque wrench up to 450 ft-lbs with no problems. The breaker bar and ratchet are of high quality. only draw back on any of the set is the socket lock on the ratchet. It will not lock the socket on as it should. All and all well worth the money. I'd recommend this set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this ratchet and socket set because my job uses some bigger sizes than average. It is durable and well made. The mechanism in the ratchet is strong. The extensions come in handy for hard to reach places. Would be nice if the sockets were impact rated so you wouldn't need seperate sockets for impact use. Very nice set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this tool with a battery powered impact gun, it says don’t use pneumatic air tools in the case. But it handled the torque well. The ratchet is well weighted and easy to use. Even when large amounts of torque are needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This socket set has been amazing. Absolutely no problems out of it. No teeth slipping on the gears. And very durable. I have dropped this from a man lift about 30 foot up and there is more damage to the concrete that on the tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ratchet set is HEAVY DUTY! Crescent went above and beyond when they made this set. Even the packaging is well made. Perfectly fit the large nuts on my truck tires. Plan on using it for years to maintain heavy duty commercial equipment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this socket set a few weeks back and it is probably the most heavy duty, best built set I've ever owned. Comes with a range of large sockets from 7/8" to 2". The extra long ratchet and breaker bar are absolutely amazing. I know I will have this set for a very long time and get plenty of use out of it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Greater 3/4" drive starter set, ranging from 7/8" to 2". The box has metal latches and pins and seems like it will hold up well. The ratchet takes a second to switch from forwards to reverse but I definitely dont see it accidentally switching while in use, so this is actually a good thing. Finish seems high quality all the way around with good knurling on the the ratchet handle, breaker bar and on the sides of the ratchet itself for quickly spinning the socket while still on the ratchet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this socket set two weeks ago and to my surprise it came in a very nice hard case with metal latches. The ratchet is bright Crome with very a very sound ratcheting mechanism. The breaker bar is stiff and looks like it will hold up long term. The sockets clearly state that they are not to be used with an impact but are still very nice, bright, and tightly toleranced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 3/4" Drive socket set is fantastic. Comes with everything you need to work on some big nuts. The breaker bar worked effortlessly on loosening a water tank anode rod recently (notoriously difficult to loosen). The ratchet has a nice large head which i can tell is very sturdy which gives me confidence I can really wrench on some nuts without worrying the ratchet is going to break. The storage case is a nice plus too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recieved this set couple days ago and was really impressed from the start with the case. Comes in a nice blow mold case with metal latches. Upon opening every piece has a place along with description labels made into case. The tools themselves are of tool truck quality without the tool truck price. The ratchet mechanism is very smooth and easily reversible, the breaker bar also has a detent ball to lock into 90° and a bolt at the swivel head instead of a cheap pin. The sockets themselves are of upmost quality and very nicey engraved with the brand and size not just printed like lower quality items. Every piece in the kit is individually labeled with description which I think is a great feature would definitely buy again but won't have too as these should last a lifetime.

Upon opening, that’s where it really shines. Great selection of sockets and the ratchet and extensions feel extremely heavy duty, and I especially liked the push button socket release and easy reversing system. Not everyone has a use for 3/4” drive, but if you do, this appears to be a set that will perform for years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this so that I could work on my trailer hitches for my trucks. I was looking for something to be able to really torque on the nuts and bolts. And this did not disappoint. The quality of the tools is great. They gave me plenty of leverage. The case it all came in keeps everything tidy and together. The ratchet itself has the locking detent pin so your sockets don’t fall off. Which is always a big plus. Over all I would tell people to buy this. It’s lived up to my expectations and actually exceeds them
