Q&A(24)
Q: What's the hydrogen peroxide %?
A: Hi Joan. Hydrogen peroxide is an ingredient dentists use to whiten teeth. We use it in Crest whitening rinse and other Crest products such as our Crest Whitestrips. However the amount of peroxide used in each product is proprietary information. If you have any other questions, Please give us a call at (800) 395-8423. We're happy to help.
submitted byCrest - 5 years agoBrand expertA: Hi Crest Team. Some have more sensitivity and need to know the percentage of hydrogen peroxide. Your ingredients are on the box and not proprietary. You have to disclose it. Opalescence has 10% & 15%.
submitted byMonica - 3 years agoA: They are 11%. It's not proprietary

Q: If it whitens in 3 days, why do I need to keep doing it for 17 more days? Aren’t they already 15 years whiter?
A: You do not need to use the entire kit right away.

Q: any reviews not part of a promotion?
A: We'd be happy to hear a review from you, Nancy! You can leave it here or give us a call at 800 448-6200 when you have time. - The Crest Team
submitted byCrest - 5 years agoBrand expertA: Mine was not part of a promotion. I recommend these - at least one kit every 6 months if you drink coffee. They are quite gentle, though.

Q: Are these supposed to stick to my teeth? They don't really stick, and I wonder if I'm doing it wrong or got a bad batch.
A: There should be some level of adhesiveness. We're sorry to hear that this is going on. We recommend you dry your teeth with a paper towel before use to ensure saliva doesn't mess with the adhesiveness. If you need further assistance, please call us at (800) 448-6200.

Q: Is this specific box ADA approved or ADA accepted? I don’t see the seal anywhere in the photos.
A: No, the Professional Effects Whitestrips do not have the ADA seal. Obtaining the ADA seal is a detailed process and is product-specific. This means that each ADA submission is done on a product-by-product basis, and if approved, the ADA seal can only be applied to that specific product. In all cases, our products are evaluated internally against stringent requirements, so you can be assured that all of our Whitening products are safe when used as directed.

Q: One person answered that the strips contain 10% hydrogen peroxide. Is this your strongest product (your highest %?) Thank you
A: Crest 3DWhitetrips formulations are proprietary, and we do not disclose that information. Our products are specially formulated to be safe and effective at whitening teeth in a variety of ways - such as results within 1 week, designed for sensitive teeth, or professional level results.

Q: Percentage of hydrogen peroxide? Will this formula cause sensitivity to enamel?
A: Our Crest 3D Whitestrips Professional Effects Whitestrips contain 10% hydrogen peroxide in the gel of the strips. Some users may be more prone to sensitivity than others and, as with any teeth whitening product containing peroxide, sensitivity or soreness may temporarily develop when using 3D White Whitestrips.
