Even though I have an explore 2 I always buy Smart materials when given the chance! I use them with my mat. I just find they are better value for my money! I appreciate that most rolls are 3 ft (rather than two) and I enjoy the sturdiness of the material going in to the machine. It may be because my first machine was a joy and I just have a preference for the smart materials!

It seems sturdy and I like the matte finish. Worked great with my silhouette machine. It seemed affordable, but it was on sale for $12 when I got it.
