A: Hi Luigi. The self-cleaning cycle boosts machine maintenance after every use by refreshing the brush roll and flushing out debris. You press a button to run the cycle. It has a run-time of 25 mins with a recharge time of 4 hours.

A: Hi Jesse. Our CrossWave machines will vacuum and refresh rugs, but it's not a deep cleaner and won't work like one.

Q: What do you do when the battery wears out? What is the life of the battery? If not sold seperately - would that mean you have to start over and buy the whole unit again?

A: Kayla, it can be used on sealed hard floors and area rugs, but shouldn't be used on wall-to-wall carpet as it isn't a dry vacuum and won't work like a deep cleaner on carpet.

I have bought this product and after a few months it's belt brakes. I try to reach Bissell. They told that they don't offer a replacement for part but instead they offer some percentage off on new product. I will recommend you before buy a new product, see if they offer the replacement belt because the belt is the only thing that will break and they don't offer our replacement part

Barely picks up.. and carpets? Forget about it! Belt broke after a few months, so when I looked to find a replacement belt, I came to find out that it doesn't exist. Had to have the whole vacuum replaced under warranty (thank goodness). The mopping reservoir smells terrible if it's not completely dried before returning it to the vacuum .. I AM SHOCKED about how many high reviews this vacuum has. There's NO WAY people think this is a good vacuum for over $200. I could have waited for the Dyson to go on sale and gotten one instead....

I've been through TWO of these in a year. First replacement was after 3 months and now my replacement is worthless, 9 months later. The problem? The hose that connects the mop head and tank breaks, as was the case again today. It's not being abused and honestly I use it once a week to mop, so it's not over used either. Terrible design that breaks very easily.
I still have some warranty left on my replacement second unit, but honestly I'm going to buy a different product from another company that I trust more. Not that the process is difficult but I shouldn't have to do it again.
Sorry Bissell. Between this and the air purifier I bought at the same time (which also had to be replaced after only 4 weeks), you've lost any future business from me.

Mop head has small plastic perches that hold mop squeegee in place, which broke. Now I get no suction and Bissell doesn't sell the correct replacement parts.

This seemed nice at first, but within a few months, the dirty water tank began to leak water everywhere. The brush roll stinks if not cleaned and dried after each use. The dirty water tank fills up fast and you have to make frequent trips back and forth to the sink. It doesn’t have a nozzle to spray water and doesn’t do well at getting up and dried messes so you will need to scrub those up or wet the stain a few minutes before using this mop and use many passes to get it up. The only thing this product is decent at is a rinse after you’ve already mopped.

These floors are hard to mop because of the exposed wood grain. This wet dry vac works wonderfully!! It does not put out too much liquid for the wood, it isn't harsh on the wood, and it cleans thoroughly. I have only used the vacuum twice, so this may change with time, but the battery lasts long enough for me to get all of the floors done in one charge. It is very easy to clean. Only a few parts to remove to get to the roller to clean out everything. I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend!! You need this product!

I really liked it to begin with. It was an easy option to use and was a great alternate choice than another I was looking at. Now a few months later I hate it! the tank fills up fast or will say it’s full when it’s not. If you do not regularly clean it, it will smell. I have not use it for 1 month and it smells like poo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought a lightweight, cordless , quiet wet/dry vacuum sounded like a great idea. We have two small dogs, two cats, and two large fish tanks. Our wood laminate and tile floors get pretty dirty, so here's my warning: This product is not for heavy duty jobs! You cannot control the amount of cleaning fluid that comes out (there's way too little). The first time I used it I really thought there was something wrong. What was wrong is that I believed I could get a good wet/dry vacuum cleaner for around $200. I guess I have to stop being so cheap and get a bigger, more powerful one. Extremely disappointing!

Works great until it doesn’t. We tried to love it, bought replacement parts when the originals warped, and then it did it again two weeks later. Very difficult to keep clean. Also, it is ridiculous to only allow the use of your cleaning products. It should be able to handle water and vinegar or something similar.

I'm telling this from my experience. I have exact same model and I reached out Bissell,
They told me, they don't make replacement part for this particular model and they can offer me 20% discount if I am willing to buy a new one.
I rather buy some other brand product.
Even there authorized repair shop doesn't have belt. They told me that Bissell doesn't make this product a repairable, they do it purposely.

Been using this a full year and have had to replace it twice. It starts to lose suction and leaks the nasty dirty water all over the floors, and sometimes water just will sputter out. Bissell customer service isn’t helpful, they told me I had to take it in to a vacuum repairman shop (what?) but after some back and forth they sent me a replacement after shipping mine back to them. However, the first time I used that one it was sputtering water out of the dirty water tank again. We’ve lost faith in this unit/brand and because it’s been continuously frustrating and no real helpful solutions were able to be offered and we’re just out the money because target’s return window passed but bissell can’t issue a refund because they didn’t do the original purchase

Works for approx 20-25 mins per charge if that makes concern then go for wired one model..
Can no longer clean correctly (on my knees) this'll do!

The vacuum & cleaning is nice - particularly for the kitchen floor! However, I was told a 2nd brush would be included - it was not.
