Culligan replacement refrigerator water filters have improved water quality for families around the world. Culligan filters reduce 50+ impurities including lead, asbestos, mercury, chlorine taste & odor, 8 pharmaceuticals, and cysts*. Culligan filters reduce chlorine taste & odor for better tasting water and ice. They provide fresh, filtered water by also reducing select pharmaceuticals including ibuprofen, atenolol, and trimethoprim. Additionally, most Culligan filters reduce the presence of illness-causing, waterborne parasites, like Giardia and Cryptosporidium, helping you stay healthy when you hydrate. Culligan filters have an activated carbon cartridge that absorbs the carbon-based VOCs (volatile organic compounds) as they pass through the filter, resulting in better water. Culligan filters provide a compatible refrigerator fit that’s easy to install and replace every 6 months. It is powerful and strong and does a good job of cleaning out impurities. The taste of the water has shown improvement and I like that I have another option besides the brand filter. It is easy to keep and store and fits nicely in my fridge filter holder.

We have a Culligan whole house filter that we love, and we still maintain a filter in our fridge for extra filtration of our drinking water. As you can see in the photo, the filter is the same as our current filter. It was easy to change, but we noticed there is space under the filter in the plug (check photo) . We took it out and reinstalled it three times, but the fitting didn’t change. The water stream in my dispenser was thin and slow, not the steady stream with other filters. We wonder if this CUFUII filter may be defective. Unfortunately, it’s not going to work for us.

The model number clearly matches on the packaging stating it’s compatible with my fridge….but it doesn’t fit. My husband lodged it in and attempted to make it work and it wouldn’t even allow the fridge to dispense water. I received this for free for my honest review.
