Description
Culligan replacement refrigerator water filters have improved water quality for families around the world. Culligan filters reduce 50+ impurities including lead, asbestos, mercury, chlorine taste & odor, 8 pharmaceuticals, and cysts*. Culligan filters reduce chlorine taste & odor for better tasting water and ice. They provide fresh, filtered water by also reducing select pharmaceuticals including ibuprofen, atenolol, and trimethoprim. Additionally, most Culligan filters reduce the presence of illness-causing, waterborne parasites, like Giardia and Cryptosporidium, helping you stay healthy when you hydrate. Culligan filters have an activated carbon cartridge that absorbs the carbon-based VOCs (volatile organic compounds) as they pass through the filter, resulting in better water. Culligan filters provide a compatible refrigerator fit that’s easy to install and replace every 6 months. Taste great!

This filter literally takes less than 3 mins to install, it’s that simple. I did notice the water and ice taste way better with this filter than my old LG filter, I don’t know why. This filter saves me so much money on water bottles and ice because it makes both. So far, this filter has been performing great and it tastes awesome!

Does the job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This water filter was compatible with my LG fridge so it was easy to install without a problem. It’s been in for a while now and the ice and water both seem good. No unusual taste or anything, all pretty standard. I often ice my drinks so it’s good that there’s no weird aftertaste or anything not being filtered out. I don’t usually drink the water directly from the fridge, mostly use the water to fill a kettle or something so can’t exactly compare drinking the water straight. Overall, it does its job so no complaints!
