So I can’t use this as I have severe fragrence allergies. Thought I finally found a product I could use and now it’s discontinued. Very disappointed

The jelly gives great non-frizzy, non-crunchy curls, but the smell reminds me of the Liz Claiborne perfume from the 80's (not something I want to smell every day). PLEASE make this in a fragrance-free version and I'll give this a 5-star rating!!!

So my curl journey started about 6 months ago. Age 50 perimenopause my hair with a kink in it started going curly!! When I say curly I mean a frizz. Thanks to Curlsmith my curls are now more defined. I have fine hair aswell I find the hydro flexi jelly doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it look dirty. I’m 6 months into understanding my curly hair but with this product and a few others in the range I’m finding my curls are easier after each wash. I find just a fine mist spray in the morning add a bit of Curlsmith curl cream the crunch of the jelly is still there, I just then crunch it out. Plus it doesn’t dry out my hair- another thing that’s happened to my hair in menopause. At my age I’m invested into looking after my hair so im happy I’ve found Curlsmith

So I guess I was proportionately disappointed by the outcome. I noticed it says on the bottle (not the website, or at least not at the time I bought it, as it may have changed since) to use it along with the Weightless Air Dry cream. I have that, but I'm looking for a one-product simple solution. This has a very strange (and not entirely pleasant) consistency. My curls (air dried) held a decent shape. . . for a few hours. There was zero frizz control, so the curls were frizzed to the max; had frizz halo worse than just using the Air Dry cream. By evening the curls had fallen, and my hair was left feeling quite dry.

I can’t remember the last time my curls looked worse when using this, and seemed to amplify the frizz. No matter how much i used it weighed my hair down a tonne, and made my curls stringy and dry. Ive never had this problem before and once i removed the gel from my routine figured out it was this. Ive given it 2 stars just solely because the hold on this is really decent.

I have thick dry curly hair and this is an amazing ligjtweight gel. I used it on wet hair and put my hair in mini twist for a twist out. Upon twisting out, the curls werw defined, and ZERO FRIZZ. I will be getting the jumbo size.
