Book Synopsis
Dad has a dog named Doug. Doug is different to most dogs. Doug is Dad's helper dog, and he goes everywhere with Dad. People often stare at Dad and Doug or ask questions. But when children at the sports club say mean things about Dad, Darcy is upset. Dad invites the children to their house, so that they can meet Doug and learn about the job he does. The visit has amazing results! Dad's Dog Doug is not just about a dog. It's about looking, feeling or being different, respecting differences, how we are all unique, and how being ourselves is the most important thing of all.About the Author
