[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Daiya Dairy-Free Aged Cheddar Mac & Cheese and it was just okay. The texture was creamy, but the flavor wasn’t as close to real cheese as I hoped. It’s a decent option if you’re dairy-free, but not something I’d reach for often. Cooking instructions are plain and simple and packaging is on par for the brand.

There are some Daiya products that I love, but their pasta has never impressed me—until now. I ate the entire bowl and wanted more. The cheese sauce is really delicious and closely resembles traditional powdered cheese; you could easily fool someone with this. However, the gluten-free noodles are still a bit al dente, even when following the maximum cooking instructions. I'm used to a fantastic gf pasta brand from Italy, so take that as you will. The noodles are the reason I’m giving this review 4 stars. Nevertheless, I will definitely be purchasing this again when I'm in the mood for a classic mac and cheese experience.
