The product has a defective design. To assemble, you first attach the two U-shaped legs, then add a cross bar that connects them. The legs go on fine, although the instruction manual has blurry printing that makes it hard to see which washers go where. But the crossbar simply cannot be attached. The screw holes for it in the legs are too low, and the metal in the legs curves so that the crossbar screw must be angled downward when inserting it. That causes it to angle down into the metal of the crossbar and makes it impossible to thread the bolt onto the other end of the screw. If the screw hole in the legs were 3mm higher it would probably work, but currently it doesn't. Despite that, I was still able to get one of the legs screwed into the crossbar, which is enough for it to look fine and remain basically stable when right side up, and the table looks good. It also had small amount of melted plastic attached to one corner of the table surface.
