DAP Kwik Seal Ultra Clear Siliconized Acrylic Kitchen and Bath Caulk Sealant 5.5 oz

Well I bought this and applied this to seal a shower drain. The product says “Kitchen, Bath & Plumbing” and 100% Waterproof. The FAQ says not intended for underwater. Fraud. False advertisement. What part of plumbing is this recommend for ? Now I will need to remove and apply silicone like I should have to start with.

We applied this several days ago in our shower and it seemed to dry clear after 24 hours. It does say on the label to wait 36 hours before exposing to water, which we did. But it does say on the label that it dries clear in 7-14 days! Huh? I can see how this product can seem confusing! On another note - folks read the label! Those complaining about the clear being white, therefore mislabeled - it states ON THE LABEL that it goes on white and dries to clear!

I got the ultra gloss white. It wasnt very easy to smooth out. Felt like it dried too fast. The next day I notice several crack already. I'm wondering wilf I can go over it with more ti fill in cracks or is it too late?

This product did not come out of the tube as expected. It seemed too thick and did not flow. I was finally able to get some to stick but it would not smooth out as expected. I finished the job but after it dries I will have to replace it with some other product. I have lived in the same home for 45 years and always depended on DAP products. I guess I will try some other product but not the KWIKSEAL ULTRA.

Caulked around our shower. The wider, deeper areas have stayed white, while the narrower areas have dried clear. I'm a fan of DAP products, but cant fiqure this one out.

Have remodeled entire bathrooms. This is easy to use, and wonderful results. Used different caulking or sealers according to what project I was working on, including the repair of a moulding across the top of my mother's home, between the gutter and and also caulking the wood I replaced along the back of her home.

When we replaced tje walls, done away with the mildew, we used the DAP sealant to keep the water in the tub and not around the tub. It was easy to use,and clean up was easy. I line simple and the price was considerable to the competitors.

I applied this to my shower. It has a lifetime mold guarantee. It molded within 3 days. Now I get to scrap it off and buy something else. Not happy.

The sealant created a nice even bead and dried quickly. It works great and even better looks great. I will definitely buy this product again and highly recommend others to try it out.

However, it was easy to apply in my bathroom around the tub and sink. A bonus is that it dried white, so it blends into the tub and leaves it looking clean. Most other sealants that I have tried leave a clear mess that takes too long to dry. I will definitely buy this to use in the future for touch-ups and will recommend it to anyone who wants an easy to use sealant that works well.

It went on smoothly and right where you aimed the tip of the tube nozzle. Very easy clean up with a wet paper towel. I used The sealant around my tub because it was in need of a touch up. I scraped as much as the old caulking around the tub, cleaned all around the tub and waited till dry like the Instructions stated. I easily applied the sealant and was happy the color gloss white matched perfect. It said wait 4 hours but I waited double that because I was very happy of the end result and didn't want to chance it because I wanted it completely dry. I definitely recommend this product for easy, fast touch ups needed around your house and now when I need any sealant Kwik Seal Ultra is my #1 choice.

We used this outside around our garage door pin pad and on a leaky rain spout. The product went on smoothly and looked like a professional applied it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the fact it was easy to apply and cleaning up was a breeze.With some products it hard to removed the excess off but with Kwik Seal Ultra I didnt have any problems I also like the fact it dries clear only drawback is that its not paintable with is ok with me.I will buy this product again and I have already told family and friends about it
