Brings back great memories!
I used to come home from school every day by 4pm so we could watch Dark Shadows! It's a great old "horror soap opera", and there are hours of entertainm\ent on these 6 DVD's. I'd recommend it to anyone that was a fan!

as a Christmas present for someone as old as myself.
I am happy to see the 50th anniversary collection of Dark Shadows videos, I've only had it for a couple weeks and have verified that it plays on my computer. However, I am as mystified as much as I was when I saw it occasionally when it was on TV. I would like to get the whole story condensed from start to finish, chronically in a couple hours like a movie or a book. I suspect it might be on on one of the DVDs, but I haven't run across it yet. Questions remain unanswered. Was Barnabas a vampire? How was he afflicted? How does it end? Does everybody die? Does Collingswood go up in flames?

I would not recommend this to anyone
Thought this set would be an overall picture of the show as a whole-very confusing-and I grew up with it and saw it through my teens. I did not expect it to be the WHOLE storyline, but very confusing the way they skip from the storyline

A Blast from the Past!
My husband is SO HARD to buy for. We had been talking something around Thanksgiving about shows we liked growing up and this is one we both watched (I am older than my husband). I was so excited when I saw this offered thru Collections -- have not watched it yet but I am so looking forward to it and it was a perfect Christmas gift for the hubby.
