He can almost feel the wind in his hair as he imagines riding it and puts it at the top of his Christmas list. However, when Darryl encounters a homeless boy and his father, his heart changes. With his new perspective on holiday cheer and tradition, Darryl is encouraged to make a selfless decision. He uses his allowance to gift the bike he's had his eye on to the homeless boy. He realizes that the true spirit of Christmas isn't about getting but about giving.
