Q: Has anyone used this to cook Pancakes? I have a Disabled son who will will not eat waffles because they have holes in them, he only eats pancakes.. I was told Dash made a mini pancake maker.

I made some pancakes this morning, and I followed the Recipe. For some reason, the pancakes came out flat. They didn’t look light and fluffy like in the demonstration in the videos or in the pictures. I’m not sure what went wrong? I will freeze them and pop them in the toaster in the mornings.

Mini makes pancakes and sandwiches with ease! Even fried eggs are good. Although some batter with flour may work better to cook both sides perfectly. The flour makes the pancakes puff up and cook evenly. Still an awesome purchase!!

Making sunny side up eggs wasnt great - took awhile to cook and the top part of the yolk kept sticking to the lid. But was fantastic for making pancakes - quick and my pancakes were so fluffy!

I love tamales, but I live alone and am also trying to count calories. I got this crazy idea to make “tamale-pupusas” and cook them on my Mini Maker Griddle! Oh wow! Perfect! I make a small batch of masa with masa harina (it stores well for a few days in the fridge.). I also made pork tamale filling and froze most of it in small freezer bags for one meal portions. When ready, I flatten a ball of masa dough in the griddle, spread it with tamale filling and add another flattened ball of masa on top. Close the lid, cook for 6-8 minutes and voila! Tamale-pupusas! No flipping or crumbling - turns out crispy and perfect every time! This little gadget is great for so many creative meals!
