Book Synopsis
He's the toughest soldier in comics--and the heart of Easy Company. From the beaches of Normandy to the forests of Europe, Sgt. Rock leads his men through the fiercest battles of World War II. These classic tales of grit, sacrifice, and brotherhood define the golden age of war comics. DC Finest: Sgt. Rock - The Rock of Easy Co. collects G.I. Combat #68 and Our Army at War #81-122, chronicling the earliest and most iconic stories of Sgt. Frank Rock and his legendary unit, Easy Company. Created by Robert Kanigher and Joe Kubert, these stories blend explosive action with emotional depth, portraying the horrors and heroism of war through the eyes of ordinary soldiers. This volume introduces readers to the unforgettable cast of Easy Company and the unshakable man who led them.About the Author
