Q: In some of the questions asked above about how long the bulb/lamp lasts, various answers were given such as 30k hours or 50 k hours. Which is is it?
A: Lasted about 9 months, with brief use some nights, but not most. Clearly, should not already be burned out.
submitted bykaren - 3 years agoA: I’ve had it less than one year and the light has burned out. Not with the money and I hate throwing things out but now I have no choice since you can not replace the bulb.
submitted byTara - 3 years agoA: My bulb is burned out after 3 months of use. I liked the lamp and it was my mistake to choose a lamp that the bulb cannot be replaced. I do not recommend this product for any thing other than staging a room. It has a sleek design but not useful for utility.

Q: What do you do when the lightbulb goes out since it's not replaceable?
A: I haven't even had my lamp for a year, I only use it at my desk, and it just stopped working yesterday.

submitted byK - 3 years agoA: Less than a year. Mine just died. This was a waste of my money and now waste for landfill. I hate that I purchased something so wasteful. I purchased this believing that it would "last for years to come" as the Target rep said. It didn't.

submitted byAnnoyed - 7 months agoA: Sorry Shelly, but this customer response is an absolute lie. Read all the comments above! It doesn't last 30,000 hours ... not even 300. I love this lamp and it worked perfectly for my desk space, until it stopped working. Unfortunately, I bought it in the store and there wasn't a description about the non-replaceable bulb. I've had it about 18 months and it's not used every day; not even every week! I'd say, on average, 10 hours a month. This is VERY disappointing, and they need to change the design of this with either a higher quality bulb that will last for years, as most LEDs do, or make the bulb replaceable. I'm actually tempted to buy a new one because I love it so much and the price is reasonable, but don't want to land-fill one every year. I see other LED lamps on the site that do have replaceable bulbs, so anything with an enclosed shade is most likely the same as this one. Buyers beware ...

A: You cannot change the bulb and it will burn out in under one year.

submitted byK - 3 years agoA: Hi Burt Out – Light up your home with this Dean LED Task Lamp from Project 62. It features an integrated LED bulb to use less energy and can't be removed/replaced. LEDs have a general life expectancy of about 50,000 hours, so it should last awhile. I hope this works for you! – Phonsavanh

A: It is 3000K LED bulb.

Q: How does it turn on and off ?
A: It turns on and off with a touch sensor in the base. You can expect that to work for less then three months. Then the the sensor switch will fail and the light will be useless.

Q: Can the light bulb be replaced in this lamp?
A: Light bulb does indeed burb out. Only have lamp since February and no light!
