Description
Stealth Cam has further refined the cellular camera segment with the introduction of the all-new Stealth Cam 40MP Deceptor Max Cellular Trail Camera. Now with an expanded battery capacity for a total of 16 AA batteries (not included), the Deceptor MAX drastically improves your efficiency afield. It is compatible with Stealth Cam’s upcoming FieldMAX assortment of rechargeable lithium battery cartridges and solar panels. It features two pre-installed SIM cards and the Automatic Network Coverage feature that continuously monitors both AT&T and Verizon signal strength, ensuring automatic connection to the strongest network for connectivity you can count on via the Command Pro app. On-demand photo and video capture takes and sends crystal-clear photos and videos with audio in real-time, while the 36-piece, 940nm No-Glo LED array offers an invisible detection and flash range out to 80 feet. A 0.4-second trigger speed captures as many as nine photos per burst. The Deceptor MAX trail camera comes with weatherproof housing and integrated lock latch, along with 1/4-inch threaded insert for adding mounting hardware..

I’m Liking this Camera
I bought this bundle to replace a buddy cam that my cows destroyed. I wanted a solar option to save on batteries and so far it has been working well. The camera is very sensitive and catches movement at quite a distance. The image quality is better than I expected it would be. The video quality is good, but they are very slow to download. This keeps me from using video much. The stake is nice as it gives me more options on where I can set up the camera. It is a little wobbly, which with my local windy weather, triggers the camera motion sensor so I get 100s of images of the wind in the weeds and trees.

Literally never triggers
I have this aimed at my automatic chicken coop door to make sure it opens and closes every day when I’m out of town. It worked for two days and now never triggers even when the chickens are going in and out of the coop. Big waste of money. Only time it works is if I do an instant picture

Good camera
I like having the solar battery pack. I use this camera in an area wher the solar pack gets adequate sunlight to stay charged up. There is no more need to purchase and change batteries.

Lyndon Poff's cameras review
They are decent in the day time but are not very good at night. Seem to take alot of pictures of nothing. Maybe to sensitive to movement of other things. Even though I try not to let things get in the way of the cameras. One is starting to fog up sometimes on the inside of the lens

Great quality. Easy to use and app is easy to navigate. Works in super cold/ snowy conditions. I would adjust the sensitivity to low right away.

Erasing photos and no pictures for up to 48 hours
Great pics!! Just be aware that when you erase SD card remotely through app, that it takes 24 to 48 hours to reformat. So NO PICS during this time period.
