Del Monte Yellow Cling Peach Chunks In Heavy Syrup 15.25oz

Normally I do not purchase fruits packed in heavy syrup as I would rather taste the fruit rather than the sugar from the heavy syrup. But I felt this product had a nice flavor as well as nice texture. I would purchase this product again the next time I need peaches packed in heavy syrup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The can came dented, but it could still be eaten. I don’t believe this was something I was interested in getting, but it’s nice that it could last awhile being canned. Heavy syrup is a bit much for me but flavorful.

I think the can is not convenient to eat on the go. It would have been easier to eat in single served package.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not a huge fan of heavy syrup but the flavor of the peaches 🍑 were good. I just drained off the syrup and had with a little whip cream. Not bad for canned fruit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love peaches. So when mixed in high fructose corn syrup of course they’re going to be delicious. A can of these contains over 70g of sugar! For that reason, I’d consider this to be more of a treat than a fruit serving. I eat these right out of the can although I’m sure you can use them in desserts, as a topping, or even in mixed drinks. They already come in chunks so it’s easy to incorporate them in almost anything. I was making a peach sorbet and added some of these for extra sweetness. Would I recommend this? Sure, they taste great! But I would say maybe not as an everyday snack. I would also suggest that they make the top a pull tab so that it’s easier to open. My mom is older and has difficulty using a can opener so I’m always looking for things that are easier for her to use.
