It's nice to have as additional sitting. If you are using it as a couch you will need padding (memory foam mattress topper or blankets to make this comfortable. This futon is on the smallish side. Package is huge but not unmanageable. Be careful cutting open the box...I knicked the futon (no other way for me to open the box than with a knife/box cutter.

I bought this for my children's playroom and went with this model because we really needed something that was under 73" long and this looked like a good solution. I anticipated the quality but it was for children so we purchased thinking it was a good mid-point piece of furniture. I set it up and my son told me that it feels "like furniture in an office". I sat on it and instantly knew that it's days are numbered. I should have known. If feels like the foam is a couple inches thick only. I can feel the bar in the middle when we put the back down and laid on top of it. It arrived today and I have already had a fleeting throught about re-selling it. It does fit well well in a children's playroom, it is pretty, delivery was awesome and even a day early, it was so easy to put together (put 4 legs into 4 pre-defined holes) But it's not here for long. Giving it a low value rating because if you buy it and don't want it then you'll end up buying twice!

This futon was fantastic for my dorm! Has lots of memories now, we could fit about four people on it comfortably for movie nights

This is a perfect seating solution for a den, playroom, office, or any space that serves as a secondary sitting room. It seems very well made, especialy when you consider the price. It is compact and very sturdy. It is firm, but comfortable and the fabric is soft. Much better quality than another "value" seating option that I purchased from a different retailer and returned because it seemed like it would not last long at all. For less than what I paid for that one I was able to get this futon and the floor and throw pillows in the photo. When it's folded down it's approximately the size of a full/double size mattress.

I bought this for my dorm and absolutely love it! I find it to be quite comfortable and the fabric is nice and soft. It was very easy to put together and pretty easy to transport.

It’s a great looking futon and soft due to microfiber overall. I loved the design and grey color is perfect - not too dark, not too light. However, SITTING AND RESTING IS NOT COMFORT - it’s hard and stiff, lacks adequate cushion. Also, IT’S SMALL OVERALL, unless you really need that - low to the floor, narrow seat depth, short back and mattress thickness is less than 6” because measurement for includes the wooden base (if it had a full 6” it may be comfortable!). I like to sit & read for hours and I couldn’t on this without discomfort and having to shift positions. So disappointing ... and didn’t want to cover up its good looks with a Mattress topper. * Be sure to review all the measurements for futon, especially if you are tall, at least medium built or larger. I only slept on it 1 night - I had a hard time falling asleep, tossed and turned, and woke up aching all over. Maybe okay for kids, teens & young adults ??

Not very comfortable. Essy to set up. But very firm and tough couch and futon bed. I regret this purchase. But in a pinch, it works.

The overall quality of this item is a 5, the cushion, fabric, how it sits. However it is so low and this is a common thing with furnishings these days (don't get it...it must be a cost savings to the manufacturing process) and that's the only reason I rated it a 3. It is uncomfortable for my mother who is 5'4". So if you are a tall person, this would be very awkward.

This futon is great, the gray color is beautiful. I wanted something to serve as sitting and sleeping furniture for a small bedroom and this works wonderfully. It is short height and depth wise, as most futon are, but it's perfect for a small space and very comfortable to sleep on.

I ordered the cream colored version. It was really easy to set up - all you need to do is screw on the 4 legs. It looks great. Although I did notice a tiny mark/indent on the cushion, not sure if that occurred during setup or what. It's fairly firm so hopefully it will become a little more giving after being broken in a bit. I am using it as additional seating in a small TV room, and I think it will serve its purpose. I think it's a good value for the price. I wouldn't want it to be my primary seating though.

I was looking for a seating/extra sleeping option for my home gym and this fit perfectly. We sometimes use it for a tv room for the kids so it needed to be compact enough to still fit the gym equipment and also able to fold out to sleep overnight guests when needed. It's perfect for that. It's not super comfortable though but not horrible either. It was very easy to assemble and looks very nice, just like pictured. The microfiber makes it a breeze to clean up. I would recommend for a bonus room or office but probably not for bedroom or dormroom.

Love the fabric, color and ease of conversion to a bed. It is rather small- not equivalent to a full size bed but can easily fit two thin/normal size people closely with one another. Looks adorable in the new room! Easily converts from couch to bed!

Super EASY to assemble but not the most comfortable product, very firm but it looks fabulous, great material.

Firm cushion, nice color and it fits perfect in my room.

The material is great and they are not concretely uncomfortable but they are only 6 inches off the ground and the top of the futon is maybe 2.5 ft tall. I did not read that on the description part so they look out of place. Somewhat like miniture furniture for miniture people/children. Keeping because children will be using/destroying them mostly. We will put new legs on them as the ones that came were a cheep plastic.

Cute as an apt. or spare room, kid's room couch...but rock hard and not comfortable to sleep on...not to mention- too short!

This futon is nice. A little stiff, but no one will be sitting on it for long periods of time. It is to go in an office.

This futon sits lower than I expected, but it is actually perfect where I placed it. It's excellent quality.

I purchased this for my 12 year old daughters room and she loves to hang out with her friends and even have sleepovers. The fabric is nice and seems sturdy enough for her room.

I bought this futon obviously because the grey color and style.. I was very happy with the reviews before I purchased. I'm a 115lb female and find this futon absolutely uncomfortable. I have a small space so I plan on keeping this futon. My friend said it was comfortable after we put a foam mattress down. Whatever it is my own fault for ordering a futon off of target.
