Changed and is way worse now
Recent changes ruined these. I had been using them for years and found them way better than any other on the market, but the last bag I got seems like an entirely different product! Wasn’t sure if it was just one bad batch or something but lo and behold everyone here confirming it changed. Ughhh disappointed! Time to find another brand that’s soft and doesn’t shred.

Ruined
This was the only floss I have been using for years. They changed it and now it sucks. It will hardly go into my teeth now. What did you guys do??? No longer silky and smooth. I try to get it between my teeth and feels like the fibers are tearing apart.

Change is terrible
The recently changed the floss material to sleektek and it is absolutely garbage. It catches on your teeth, does not glide, and shreds as you use it. I used to love this product but change is not always good.

These are now terrible
I’m so upset. I’ve used these for years and now will have to find a new brand. In the past, they always glided easily, had enough give to maneuver around teeth and get under the gums a bit, had a minty coating, had a slight texture that visibly picked up plaque and food particles, and i could get away with using 1-2 picks per flossing session. Now it is a new material that shreds between teeth, it has no give to maneuver around, the floss is tight, stiff and thinner, and it DOESN’T pick up plaque which is its most important job. My gums hurt after using these. I am truly angry at these changes and will now have to spend lots of money looking for new floss picks.

After they discontinued and then brought it back to target it is no longer the same. I used to love this specific floss it was soft and gentle. Now, it breaks and rips after flossing between the first pair of teeth. Very poor quality and breaks easily.

Buyer beware! This is not the same Dentex sensitive gum floss sticks that they have sold before. These ones have a different floss. The originals were a “soft and silky” ribbon floss and the new ones are a “soft and sleek” tape floss. The newer version breaks immediately and even the pick part is flimsy at best. What a shame! I have been buying these for years and now I need to find another brand that meets my needs.

Floss shreds quickly, you’ll need 2 minimum per floss. I don’t recommend trying to use these to get something that’s stuck between your teeth. It feels like it just pushes anything deeper into your gums. Old ones were much better.
