[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Dentemp Sof-Grip One-Step Denture Reliner 3g – Long Lasting Denture Repair for Loose Fitting Dentures in the mail and i was excited to try it; you see, Ive had dentures for over 25 years that are fitting loose. I was a lengthy process to say the least and it took me several tries to get the product warm enough to come out of the tube. Whn I finally got it to work it did feel better (my dentures) but it didn't last the 30 days specified on the packaging.. about a week at the most before I was reapplying the product. So all in all, it was good, just not great; and expect to spend a lot of time trying to get the product ready for application and to dry.

However it's missing the 2 star because it doesn't hold as well as the one I use normally. Although the application is better. I'd prefer to have it last in my mouth longer.

The process is a bit long and tedious,but totally worth it. My dentures fit better,don't leave sores or scrapes,and are ever more comfortable than when they were new.

I followed every direction exactly as written and even used all of the tips and recommendations included in the instruction sheets. Despite doing everything correctly, the Dentemp Sof-Grip One-Step Denture Reliner completely ruined the fit of my dentures. Instead of improving them, it added so much material to the front that my dentures looked like I had buck teeth. They looked terrible and were completely unusable. Thinking maybe I had just chosen the wrong product, I decided to try Dentemp Reline-It instead. Unfortunately, that experience was even worse. The material was nearly impossible to work with. It wouldn't spread or stretch without breaking apart. The best way I can describe it is that it was like trying to use a gummy worm as a denture reliner. No matter what I did, I couldn't get an even application. On top of that, both products had a very strong chemical odor, but the smell from Dentemp Reline-It was overwhelming. It smelled exactly like walking into an acrylic nail salon. Even worse, that chemical taste never went away. I followed the instructions for removing it by soaking my dentures in one cup of warm water with one teaspoon of baking soda. I also cleaned them with my denture disinfectant tablets, brushed them thoroughly, and even repeated the baking soda soak, but nothing removed the chemical taste or smell. I carefully followed every instruction and every tip provided by the manufacturer, so this wasn't a matter of using the products incorrectly. The lingering chemical odor and taste also made me question whether this is something I want sitting in my mouth for extended periods. I don't know whether any of those chemicals are absorbed through the gums, but the persistent smell and taste certainly didn't make me feel comfortable using it. Go with Cushion Grip and/or Denttach Seven they are reliable and actually work without a chemical taste.

I also appreciated how the Soft Grips made handling and applying the product much more comfortable. Overall, it's a convenient product to have on hand whenever you're dealing with a canker sore or mouth irritation. I would definitely recommend giving it a try!
