Designers Fountain Porter 1 - Light Pendant in Old Satin Brass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light fixture is beautiful and I was so excited to hang it in my front hall, unfortunately it’s way too big for my low ceilings. Fortunately for my daughter, it’s not too big for her house. The glass is very pretty with small bubbles periodically and the brass top is very pretty. It would go well in several styles of home - as long as you have a large open space. I received this product free in exchange for an honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very simple light fixture that looks very plain. I had a spot in mind, but after receiving this fixture, I think another location will be needed. I wanted to put it in my kitchen, but due to the coloring of the brass, it will not work. The brass has a more brown tint to it than the standard gold colored brushed bass. Therefore, it does not match any other brushed brass fixtures. The clear glass portion is bigger than expected and will allow more options of where I am able to install the fixture.

Check the dimensions because the glass shade was even larger than I expected from the description, which I see as a positive. Great for entryways or above tables. There isn't a lot of adjustment in the shaft, so I had some difficulty installing it plumb from our slant ceiling. I was able to install the light in about 45 minutes, and I'd consider myself to be only basically skilled in home improvement projects.

It is large 15 inches wide light with adjustable height based on the requirement. It comes with hardware accessories for install. It is a nice satin brass hardware with a clear glass shade design. The top hardware for the light is adjustable for angle. I want to have this light on an angle and I can able to adjust based on my stairs ceiling roof. I would definitely recommend it and it looks really good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Porter 1 -Light Old Satin Brass Pendant is a very nice lighting fixture. It is large in size. I like the contrast of the clear glass paired with the almost industrial look of the brass. It is very simple and stylish at the same time, and makes a great centerpiece of décor wherever it is in the house. I installed this pendant in my utility room. I had a standard shell type light fixture cover in there and wanted to give that room more of a classy, comfy, special look. The only drawback, is the ceilings in there are shorter than inside my house, so I just mounted it flush to the ceiling without using any of the extension pieces. It was easy to install, and took about half an hour. This fixture is not that heavy, even though it may look like it. Because the light cover is clear glass, more light shines through, and it is brighter in that room when I am using it. It adds a touch a class to that space which I really like. The pendent poles come in three pieces that screw together, so you adjust it to your height preference. I will hang onto these, should I want to move this to a different room with higher ceilings. The quality is really good and feels well made. It looks great in that room and is a nice upgrade. I would recommend it.

I have never had a light in my living room because of the God awful tilt in my ceiling. However I love that the base is able to let me tilt the light o my pleasure. I was able to put it uo and the quality is impeccable!
