[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from a very versatile House, Dolce & Gabbana has always been known for a wide array of very high quality fragrances — and Devotion is no different! It starts off very clean and citrusy (I got notes of lemon, but almost leaned sweet) After about a half hour or so, it started to hit pleasant middle notes that were warm and slightly bitter to help round out the citrus top notes (I got coffee, but there almost also seemed to be some woodsy notes of cedar.) Then a little later we hit the patchouli but not like “hippy” patchouli, it was much more pleasant and helped tied the whole fragrance together. Needless to say, I am looking forward to adding this one to my summer lineup this year and continue to feel impressed by what D&G can do!

The smell lasts all day even despite me running around at work. While this isn't my favorite scent if you are someone who enjoys strong notes of coffee this would be the perfect cologne for you.

It’s smooth and not overbearing. I can detect the notes of lemon, but I don’t detect any elements of coffee, I’m no pro, lol.

The opening is a realistic coffee bean note which leads the way to a fresh citrus note. It’s tied together with a smoky patchouli base. Overall an interesting and unique compliment puller.

However this scent unfortunately falls short in smelling good on my skin chemistry. Cant rate the package as I had a small sample decant.
