[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a large toolbox with one deep tray and two small trays stacked inside. This is a great way to fit a lot of tools neatly within that box. The only thing I would change is the height of the box or trays. There is about 1.5 inches of space left which is not enough to fit one more small tray or two large and two small trays. Otherwise, I like the system.

I recently purchased some of the TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 boxes to use with the TOUGHSYSTEM boxes and carrier that i already own. the overall quality is what I expect from Dewalt tools, but the large and small boxes i got are missing 1 important feature. I use the DS carrier not the tower style boxes and the 2.0 does not have the locking latch on the back of the box to be able to lock it to the carrier. Just for this feature I would rather have the original TOUGHSYSTEM boxes. Are there any plans to make a add on latch for the 2.0 boxes?

Really like these storage boxes. First off they work great. Love the seal on lid. They are very strong.Really like the way they connect to each other. Will hold a lot of stuff, not just tools.
Great System

The cases are very sturdy and lock together easily when stacked. I like the wide handle because it provides a wide area to grip and keeps it balanced when pulling over uneven ground. The large wheels also solid and ease rolling it over bumpy ground. I would have given it 5 stars if it were not for one thing. It is water tight but if any water settles into crevices on the lids (as it did to me when I got caught in a sudden downpour) when opening them the water drains right into the back of the cases onto my tools. If I would have tipped the cases over to drain the lids before opening then the trays inside would have dumped the items in them. Fix the water pooling on the lids so it doesn't drain into the box when opened and I will gladly give this 5 stars.

I have all DeWalt tools and tough system including storage racks. Great product EXCEPT the rolling cart box. It has an indented square on top of the lid that pools with water during a rain and when you open the box, all of that water spills into the box getting your supplies wet! Please redesign.
TOUGHSYSTEM® 2.0 Is A Huge Improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the DWST08300 TOUGHSYSTEM® 2.0 LARGE TOOLBOX to evaluate. I already had the original DWST8203 ToughSystem® 22 in. large tool box and was interested in what made the new 2.0 version that much different. First impression was it was larger, wider than the previous version and it just looks and feels tougher as well. While the 2.0 is compatible with the original version, the latches on the side that connect the boxes to each other are far better than before. It is easy to snap them into place as they are spring loaded and unlatch them to take them off. The box front latches are an improvement as well over the previous version. They are a two piece latch, not one as before and just look and feel more secure. The box does not have the air vent on top of it. Not that it really needs one. Nor does it have the hook on the rear of it to attach it to the TOUGHSYSTEM® DS CARRIER. The box does have a flip up “T” connector on the lid that allows it to connect to two of the DWST08020 TOUGHSYSTEM® 2.0 DEEP COMPACT ORGANIZER on top of it. These organizers are a great size to take smaller bits and pieces you might need on a job site, like nuts and bolts, screws, as well as PVC and copper tube connectors and elbows. This organizer is not compatible with the original system. Overall great quality and investment to store and protect your tools. While my original ToughSystem® boxes stay stacked in place at home, this toolbox might just end up riding with me in my service van.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to give this box a try and overall it isn’t bad. It’s sturdy, and the clips seem much more durable than the previous model. However, they are almost too tight. Before I worried about snapping the clips off when rounding a corner on a job site. Now I worry about snapping my fingers under the clip when closing the box!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a LARGE Toolbox! This box is part of the ToughSystem 2.0 platform, which combined with the other units, makes a solid rolling tool platform. It's rated at 110 lbs. capacity, which you'll be glad it's got two spring loaded handles, if you put that much weight in it. The rubber seal on the lid gives it an IP65 water resistant rating. The lid locks in the 90 degree open position for easy tool removal. There's a smaller tray that sits in top of the box to hold smaller or more frequently used items. I work in the field service industry, with a covered pickup bed for tools and parts. The bed cover is water resistant at best. With this box, I can load it with spare parts and know they will be protected from moisture, dust, and physical damage. The larger rolling unit holds tools and vacuum cleaner. This allows me to go onsite with everything I need in one trip from the truck. There are multiple size boxes available which allow you to customize the system to what size suits you best.
Well built, will last a lifetime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the large DeWalt ToughSystem 2.0 toolbox about a month ago. Since then, I’ve put it through its paces. I left it outside in the rain and in the AZ sun. Verdict...it’s legit. I really love the auto connect latches and have confidence they will last. The front latches feel solid and the soft touch handle feels solid in your hand. The gasket held up really well in the rain, not a drop inside. All in all, a really solid effort by DeWalt. I will definitely be adding to my ToughSystem 2.0 arsenal and can highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with the ToughSystem 2.0 Large Box. I’ve used it as a step stool, took storage, and airtight container for my painting supplies to not dry out. It beat the last tough system out significantly on the watertight design and easier to use latches. I ran in the back of my pickup through the car wash about 5 times and never had any water end up inside of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a upgrade from my tough systems 1 and you can really tell the difference with the new box. The clips are so much stronger. The water tight seal is great. The best part is the half divider In the top to throw some small things in. The last box divider took up to much room and did not allow for tools.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been looking for a toolbox to hold my power tools during travel and this definitely has the capacity to hold several, the seal to keep them dry, and the robustness to last for a while. A note on IP ratings: The first number refers to dust resistance, which at 6 means it is sealed against dust. The second number refers to the water resistance, which at 5 means it can withstand low pressure water spray from all directions. It is also resistant to allowing moisture in that will form condensation, which you know can be the true death of tools in storage. There is a really nice rubber detent that holds the lid in the open position during use, or during the once yearly dirt shake-out. If anything, the detent is a little too strong, but I have confidence that it will break in. The toolbox comes with a single tray for accessories which is the prefect size for some PPE and a couple spare batteries.
