A: Dial soap of any variety has not contained triclocarban or triclosan for some time. As far as I've seen, the active ingredient in all Dial antibacterial soaps is benzalkonium chloride.

Q: Please explain why Dial says it is certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny but cruelty free" is not listed in the "at a glance" nor does this product show up in a search for "cruelty free bar soap."

A: "At a glance" is a Target thing, not a Dial thing. Chances are, someone in data entry missed it. It's listed on crueltyfreekitty and the leapingbunny sites, which should be enough proof.

Q: Have they changed the formula recently? It doesn’t lather up like it used to, it looses it scent quickly and my soap has absorbed water or something because it is doubled in size

Please PLEASE make original formula gold bar available also. While no officially diagnosed skin disorder, I’ve had sensitive skin - easily dried and itchy and rashy presumably due to added unneeded additive chemicals. For what.. 3 decades? Pure simple Dial Gold has been my 🙌🏼 go to. Honestly I tried the new version. And I’m hivey. I’m also not the type to gripe. Just asking. Thanks much Chuck W.

I bought 3,12 of packs of dial soap. It’s not the same go back to the old one. This soap broke me out. I got bumps and rash all over me. I can’t use the fragrance dial soap. Bought this based on surgeon request that it be used for two weeks prior to surgery as it is antibacterial. It may be antibacterial which has its purposes but it is very harsh and irritating to my skin.
