I have a pair of the slim version of these, and they are my favorite work pants in the summer. A bit tight on the waist, but they loosen as you work throughout the day. They look thick and heavy, but are breezy in the summer. I volunteer for property and farm work, and these pants take a beating and clean up well in the wash. The "regular" fit are pretty much the same at the waist--same comfortable breathability. The problem is that there is no inbetween size for normal-human size and the elephant-leg "regular" size Dickies sells--and there are no slim sizes available anymore. Normal pants have a 12" cuff. "Regular" American size for work pants is about 15" cuff. (Boot cut jeans, for example.) These are 18" cuff. Massively oversized, billowy pants where you could fit your head through the cuff, and meet your friends in the thighs for a couple of beers. I have to take special precaution to seal the bottom so my legs are protected from chemicals, animal waste, poisonous plants and biting insects. I wish they had a size where the inseam is +2 inches of the waistline, because they're also short.
