Description
I Wanna' Die in New Orleans is the newest release from Dinola and the follow up to their 2018 debut LP Up High. While not as ebullient as classic Mardi Gras numbers such as 'Carnival Time' or 'Jock-A-Mo' the title track is still a celebration of the city in all it's gothic grit and is bound to become a Carnival and Crescent City classic. The short EP features two more tunes, a haunting bluesy number titled 'Reprisal (Heaven or Hell)' and the stomper 'Sucka Punch (Get Back)' that was featured in the 2015 film 'White Rabbit'. All three tunes were produced by former Queens of the Stone Age sideman and Eagles of Death Metal guitarist Dave Catching.
