Exactly what I needed for an older hand held vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Belt install took about 20 minutes just because there were two ways the belt could be twisted to fit the spindle and motor shaft. I guessed wrong the first time but was able to redo it, twisting belt the opposite way so it was staying on the motor shaft midpoint. Reassembled and started it up. Beater bar is spinning as should and did a great job removing dirt / debris from carpeted staircase treads.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hello - I did not realize I could order a replacement belt for the Dirt Devil purchased in the 1990's! I just luv this hand held vacuum and now its up and running again. Fast deliver, great website support.

My Dirt Devil by Royal was given to my family as a gift. We received it back in the '80s. The belt, in this hand vac, was the original. In fairness to this review, this vacuum was used to clean stairways because it was narrow, had a long cord, and had great suction. This original belt did not break. It wore so thin that it slid of the spindle. I installed the new belt. It works great I'm looking forward to another 30+ years!

Replaced belt, runs like a (big dog!!) would tell a friend!

When I received the replacement belt, because my old one was so stretched, I thought it was too small. Worked perfectly. Thanks so much. Glad to have my trusty old dirt devil back in working order.

I had one little problem because the carpets were new in the house and the belt broke and they sent me the belts of immediately and I was very satisfied so I have nothing but good things to say about that

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, and it fits my dirt devil just like I hoped it would. Now I can use it again.

I contacted customer support for the proper belt for my classic dirt devil! They were spot on with the proper belt # and my machine is good as gold again! Thanks a latte Dirt Devil!
