The blanket is of average to low quality. It is very soft and will serve nicely for the limited use of occasional pictures. It is a cheap poly material, which I expect to fall apart. The packaging of the product was ridiculous, with the blanket wrapped and fastened into a knot with 7-8 little plastic fasteners, which could not be removed without risk of cutting, tearing, or otherwise damaging the blanket, followed by meticulous inspection to remove any plastic pieces imbedded in the blanket to avoid poking the baby or being infested. The packing is just outrageous. I bet a large percentage of blankets are damaged just trying to remove the plastic fasteners binding the blanket into a knot.
