Dockers Mens Athletic Tapered Casual Chino Pants

These arrived as I was trying to decide what to wear to work, and I immediately slipped them on. I knew as I fastened them I had a winner. I've never been more comfortable in a pair of pants (or felt sexier!), and the stretch kept up with the demands of a physical job.

These pants are the best thing since jean's Fridays. Please, please, please, make them in the longer length (36") for my tall boys!

Docker must consider using wrinkle resistant or wrinkle free fabric for this type of jeans. 2% Elastic is making this pant very comfortable to wear but just because of too many wrinkle with in less then hour after wearing makes it unsuitable for business casual or semiformal environment

If you are an athletically built guy or just have larger thighs it can be a challenge to find pants that fit well (or at all) yet still have a more modern, fashion forward, silhouette. I'm glad Dockers recognized this and came out with the tapered fit. For me these fit just right though the thigh and taper down nicely, narrow enough at the cuff without being too slim. The Alphas are definitely more on the causal side, but can be dressed up enough for a Friday at the office or a night out. I own six pairs and so far the quality has been consistently good on all of them. Overall they are great value for money and definitely worth a shot.

very comfy, well sized, and perfect if you've got big legs with a normal sized waist (i.e. sporty!)- definitely not many trousers out there that satisfy that. Smart enough to wear in the office with a shirt or out on a night out. Durable too. Highly recommended.

I have a 10 inch drop between my shoulders and waist. I always have to buy 38 inch pants and get them tailored to 35-36 inches, which is a pain. I can't fit pants around my quads. When I saw these pants, I went against my better judgement and elected to purchase the 36 inch waist. The waist was perfect, with a little room to spare. The butt was a little tight, and the quads/calves were very tight. The pants themselves seem amazing. The material seems fantastic and looks very nice. Just know your sizing if you are corn fed.

Straight leg cuts were always the best fit I could find for larger than average thighs and seat. Though that was the best I could find, it wasn't perfect. They straight legs fit snug above the knee and too loose below the knee. The Athletic Tapered cut has made me forget even my favorit straight legs. The fit is that great! It feels like a custom cut that is snug but not too snug from waist to ankle. The weight is also perfect for cooler months. I'd like to see lighter weight versions for the summer, more colors, and more availability in 34x32. The Pembroke Blue color is a great shade that can be worn with just about any pair of shoes or shirt. I've only worn them twice and have yet to wash them so no comments on durability/fading. But, at the relatively low cost and with frequent sales it's easy to stock up for the future. BTW - despite the tags indicating the same sizes, the Burma Grey pants fits slightly tighter than the Pembroke Blue and Grey Heather.

Excellent quality, perfect fit, very comfortable and can be dressed up or down as required. I ordered another pair in a different colour as soon as I'd tried these on for the first time.

Like the Summary says. If only Dockers made an Alpha Athletic Stretch Jean....
