Cartilage, composed of proteoglycans, is mainly located on bones, near the joints and consists primarily of collagen protein with side chains called chondroitin sulfate. MSM supplies bioavailable sulfur needed to support joint health, hair, skin, and nails. OptiMSM® is purified via distillation for highest purity and consistency and is an excellent source of bioavailable sulfur.

Apparently, I'm allergic to glucosamine chondroitin. I had terrible heartburn and even when I lowered the amount, I had breast pain which was very scary since I didn't know the cause. Thank goodness it all went away when I stopped taking GC!!

Quite simply, I'd be on crutches if not for this product. It's great and I've been using it for 9 or 10 years. I highly recommend it. I prefer this brand because it seems to work best for me.

This product really works. I haven't been on it for a while, so I know it will take time to kick in, but at least I know that it will work eventually if I keep taking it. It would probably work faster if I took the full recommended dose, but I'm trying to conserve. Now that I'm buying it from this company, it's cheap enough that maybe I will go ahead and start taking the full recommended dose, now that I can afford to buy it when I run out, thanks to Swanson Vitamins! I've been buying this brand for years as it works very well for my purposes. However, the last bottle I ordered had several broken capsules, so lots of loose powder in the bottom. Didn't dissuade me from purchasing it again, however. I figured it must have been a quality control issue in the packaging, so a one-time issue.

I don’t know a better quality product combining these 3 ingredients. My mother has the worst bones and is now 100% physically handicapped, so very early on I went looking for possibilities to prevent this kind of suffering in my life. This combination works!
